Taradiddle Youth Writing Contest #8 kicks off TODAY!

Know a young storyteller, animal lover, or budding writer? Encourage them to join the Taradiddle Youth Writing Contests!

Whether they’re passionate about writing or just getting started, this is a fun and inspiring way to grow their writing skills—and maybe even win a prize.

Here’s how it works:
Starting today, participants will receive a clue about the mystery animal in Contest #8 every Thursday via email, leading up to the big reveal and the writing prompt on Thursday, September 11 . Stories are due the following Monday , so mark your calendars!

Our panel of judges will select the top three stories in each age category . Winners receive cash prizes and will have their stories published on our website .

The Book Buddies Reading Program takes place…

… every second Saturday at City Dog Vet Clinic (1004 E. Washington Ave. in Madison). Reserve a free 20-minute reading appointment by clicking on the button below. Many of the Book Buddies reading sessions are currently filled, but if you check closer to the date, spots might open due to cancellations. If you would like to be placed on a waitlist, please email [email protected].

… every Monday at Meadowridge Public Library (5726 Raymond Road in Madison) from 4-5:30 pm, until August 11. (No reading program on July 21!)
