Ruby's plight, as written by the Taradiddle writers!
The mystery animal in Taradiddle Youth Writing Contest #2 was finally revealed: a ruby-throated hummingbird named Ruby! Our Taradiddle judges are currently reading the 33 stories entered in the Elementary age category and the 20 stories in the High School age category submitted about Ruby's plight flying to her winter home. No doubt, the judges are enjoying their time as there are many good stories. Please be on the lookout for an announcement soon of the top three finalists in each age category. You, too, can enjoy reading the stories, once they are posted on the Taradiddle website, www.tardiddle.org .
Special thanks to the Taradiddle judges, Julie Dahms, Jimbo Jacobs, and Anna Kelton, DVM.
