Celebrating a One-Year Anniversary! The recent Book Buddies reading program at Valor marked our one-year anniversary there. We are honored to recognize one of the readers, Ameer, as Distinguished Buddy to the Book Buddies. Ameer has attended every single reading session we have held at Valor, thus far! Special thanks to Lola Ferguson at Valor for making it possible to use their space and to the Book Buddies therapy teams: Stephanie Kempf and Paisley, Mary Ebeling and Cash, Sue Hill and Teddy, and Lauren and Opal. Thirty-six children, including Ameer, have participated in the Book Buddies reading program at Valor, so far. We look forward to another fun year of books, reading, and dogs!
