Meet the newest Book Buddies!

Thanks to your support and participation, we have exciting news to share with you. The Book Buddies have gained a new dog therapy team! Barbara and her dog, Zoey, have recently joined the Book Buddies. Zoey enjoys being read to, and she is having a blast lending her ears to the Book Buddies reading program.

Here are some fun facts about Zoey!

Type of Dog: Golden Retriever

Favorite Treat: Liver treats! Zoey also likes hamburgers and yogurt.

Favorite Trick: Sit! Down! Fetch!

Favorite Activity: Going to the dog park to meet people!

Favorite Season: Winter! Zoey loves snow.

Special Skill: Zoey enjoys being with people, which makes her great at her job of being a therapy dog.

Favorite way to relax: Lying outside in the grass and watching the world go by.

Nickname: Zo-zo

Favorite Book Genre: Fantasy

The Book Buddies Reading Program takes place…

…every second Saturday at City Dog Vet Clinic (1004 E. Washington Ave. in Madison). Reserve a free 20-minute reading appointment by clicking on the button below. Many of the Book Buddies reading sessions are currently filled, but if you check closer to the date, spots might open due to cancellations. If you would like to be placed on a waitlist, please email [email protected].

… every fourth Monday from 2-3:30 pm at Bayview Foundation for residents only, starting in September.
