Young writers from around the world have submitted their stories for Taradiddle Youth Writing Contest #3, using historical fiction to explain how the eastern gray squirrel arrived in Great Britain during the 1890s, to become an invasive species in Great Britain.
Special thanks to the Taradiddle Judges who are reading the story submissions. Please stay tuned for an announcement of the finalists. The stories of the finalists, and of the finalists from past contests, can be read here .
Encourage a writer 18 years and younger to join us for our next contest. We'll begin emailing the clues for the next mystery animal in July!
