We are excited to introduce you to our newest Book Buddies!

Please welcome Lynda Nelson and her dog, Taylor. Lynda has volunteered with Taylor for two years as a certified canine therapy team with the Alliance of Therapy Dogs. Her favorite part about volunteering is listening to children read and seeing the joy of reading.

Breed:  Shih Tzu

Animal Siblings: Taylor has many animal siblings: Oakley, a Bichon Frise; Elvis, a ragdoll cat; Deany, a black cat, and many fish friends

Favorite Treat:  Chicken hearts

Favorite Trick:  “Plop,” a Superman pose with his front legs stretched out

Favorite Activity:  Taylor likes to kick his blanket into a pile

Favorite Season:  Spring

Favorite way to relax:  Snuggling

Favorite Book Genre:  Fiction

Special Skill:  Taylor can drink from a guinea pig water bottle, which comes in handy during visits. It also keeps his beard dry!
